SunRise University, Alwar in collaboration with “The Institution of Engineers (India)” Alwar local centre organized a two days Seminar on “Latest Construction Technologies and Sustainable Growth of the Country” dated 7th & 8th February, 2015 at Sunrise University, Alwar. It was inaugurated by Dr. V. K. Agarwal, Chancellor, Sunrise University.
Vice Chancellor, Sunrise University, Alwar welcomed the honourable guest, participants and introduced the program to all. The guest of honour of seminar was Er. Vikas Kumar, Superintendent of Police, Alwar. The seminar was chaired by
Dr. V. K. Agarwal. Then welcome speech was given by Mr. Niranjan Singh, Chairman IEI, Alwar local centre. The program was presided by Er. Narendra Singh, Chairman C.V.D.B. IE (India). Mr. Narendra Singh said that sustainable growth is the demand of today in civil engineering. In the next coming years India will grow in the big market for latest construction technologies. Furthermore the seminar series is considered instrumental in strengthening the growing research community on the topic of civil engineering. Throughout the seminar several papers were presented. The topics of the papers were all of current interest in the field. During two intense days senior researchers, young scholars and Ph.D. students presented and discussed their research on civil engineering. In the closing session an evaluation of the seminar was carried out in order to set the direct on for the future perspectives of the seminar there was general consensus that the seminar had been very successful with strong contributions to the research presented during the seminar.
