Due recognition have been conferred upon the Sunrise University by Statutory regulatory bodies like BCI, PCI, AICTE, RPMC, RCI etc.

No, AICTE approval is not required for State Private Universities for the course in the field of Engineering and Technology & Management. However, they have to maintain the norms and standards prescribed by the AICTE.

For admission to PhD programmes, Pre-PhD Qualifying Entrance Examinations and Interviews are conducted twice in a year. Candidates have to apply online and appear for examinations and Interviews. Successful candidates will be provided Eligibility Certificate. After completion of the Regular 06 month’s course work, the candidate has to approach the Research Supervisor available in the University Department and present the Research proposal before the Departmental Research Committee (DRC). Based on the recommendation by the DRC, admission to Ph.D. programme will be made.

Yes, you can apply for Ph.D. (Part Time) but required to submit NOC from your employer at the time of admission.

 

Yes, Hostel facility is provided subject to availability.

Apart from Central Library with RFID, department level libraries are available. All Academic and Hostel buildings are connected with free Intranet, Internet and Wi-Fi. In addition, free Wi-Fi hot spots are available in selected places of student centric points. Apart from that ATM, transportation facility, GYM, stationary, canteen, Hospital, round the clock security guards, Ambulance, guest house, Indoor and Outdoor games grounds, courts, tracks, 24x7 uninterrupted power and water supply are available in the University campus.

The NEP 2020 is followed by the Sunrise University for all the programmes. In accordance with the University has:

  • The academic year is from July to June.

For all regular students, the examinations are conducted twice in a year programs (in December for odd semester and in June for even semester).

One can apply for Migration certificate after successful completion of programme of his/her study. Application processing Fee for issue of Migration/Bonafide Certificate will be applicable.

A transcript is documentation of a student’s academic record, which usually means all subjects, grades received semester wise. Transcripts and Letter of Recommendation will be issued immediately on receipt of request letter. The letter should accompany; Photocopy of Consolidated Mark Statement / Provisional Certificate / Degree / Diploma / certificate of candidate. Application processing Fee for issue of Transcript and Letter of Recommendation will be applicable.

Academic request form in the prescribed format shared by WES, Canada or other foreign agency duly signed by the students. All Academic records issued by the SRU to be attested by the COE/Registrar and despatch. Application processing Fee and Courier charges will be applicable. 

When students are applying for further studies or for jobs, the prospective Educational institutions/ Companies wish to verify the genuineness of the certificates issued by the SRU. For which the agency who wants the verification to be done should pay processing fee along with a request letter and attached all the testimonials of the candidate.

Generally it takes minimum 45 working days after the receiving of the request. Certificates will not be despatched to default candidates having dues in course fee, involved in malpractice, not properly entered / shaded Register number in answer script etc. The certificates will be despatched only after clearing the said issue(s).

All students who have successfully cleared all the Semesters of the Programme for which they had enrolled will become eligible for Convocation. However, the degree/diploma certificate will be issued only if the stipulated fee has been paid by you.

The certificate of degree/Mark sheets conferred on a student of SRU is issued only once. The duplicate degree/mark sheet will be issued only for genuine cases. If the original certificate/ Mark sheets are really lost or stolen or damaged. The following procedure is to be adopted by the candidate for getting a duplicate degree certificate/mark sheets in case of loss/theft.

  • . Register an FIR for loss/theft of the degree/ Mark sheets issued by the SRU to the nearest Police station and FIR to be attached with the application form.
  • . A full sheet of the copy of the notification published in a newspaper or gazette regarding the lost certificates should be enclosed.
  • . A non-traceable certificate issued by the Police official duly signed by mentioning Crime and occurrence sheet number and date.
  • . An affidavit on a non-judicial stamp paper duly signed on the prescribed stamp by the Notary Public with an undertaking to return the duplicate copy in case the original degree is found.
  • Payment receipt for the issuance of the duplicate certificate/ marksheets.
